Mass delete contacts and contact groups

When I synced Dooster and Google, it imported thousands of contacts, most of whom are not relevant to my business. Is there a way to mass delete them. I'd rather add my contacts one by one or via an excel upload.

Also, it would be very helpful if we could classify contacts into different groups. That way if I wanted to export a list of a certain type of contact for a mailing or something, I wouldn't have to do it manually.

    Hi Kelly

Sorry we don't have a mass delete of contacts yet

But I think Google do so you could delete them from there and Dooster will
    sync those changes for you

Thank you for the suggestion re contact groups
Please let us know if you have any further ideas about how / where you
    would like to control that

    Best wishes

    Ed

I tried deleting the contacts in Google, but they are still there in
    Dooster. Is there a delay?

Please note that at the moment, unfortunately due to a high rise in the number of people using the contact feature it can take up to 24 hours for large changes such as a mass deletion on your Google account to be reflected in Dooster

    Thank you

That was helpful, except I don't know what google email account I used originally and that account is now disconnected. How do I find out what account was originally used to sync with Google? Then I can re-sync that account, then delete the google contacts.

Also, who can see those contacts?

Is it possible to have a group of Contacts in Google assigned to "Dooster" and the sync only applying the that group.

    I would like this feature.

    Hi Ed

Yes I think so... you would simply make those contacts Team Members in your Dooster. There might be other ways you can do it aswell... experiment !

    Best wishes
