Kristen: The only thing is I wish I could only get notifications
of tasks that I assign that are done.

That's a good idea We will implement it

Jess: I mean, a way to sort it so you can see all the tasks
you're involved in, not just the ones you're assigned, would be
nice.

You can filter tasks in various way. I think Jess wants us to
add "Task watchers" to the filters? please confirm

Pam: Only thing I could think of off the top of my head is to
have separate notification controls for EACH project, not just the
universal one so you don't get bombarded with e-mails for things
that you don't need but can't turn off because you do need them for
others.

Good idea. I will discuss that with the team.

Kristin: Still a few people whose lists she can’t see
(same problem as before).

I guess this is for the same reason as before ie when creating
the task you would need to save it to the correct project, and it
can ONLY appear in one project at a time. E.g. if Ronnie creates a
task and saves it to Kristin's Project, it won't appear in Ronnie's
Project

If that's not the case can you give more details please.

Nicole: It would be great if when I was assigned a task in the
Automate task list, it also was displayed in my own task list so I
wouldn’t have to shuffle through various lists and could see
and manage them all from one central location

Hmm I guess automate task list = recurring tasks yes?

If so and Nicole is the assigned person for a recurring task
then these will show on her dashboard eg in All Tasks and/or
Upcoming or Overdue

I think using the dashboard more might help you guys a lot. For
some reason my own team also preferred to work on project levels
when we started using Dooster - rather than see all their projects
and tasks on one screen ie the dashboard. It took a couple of
nudges but they soon got it (and when I say nudges Ronnie you know
I mean gentle ones right :-)

Thanks ed

edtag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/134075062012-02-08T13:41:05Z2012-02-08T13:41:05Zsome feedback / staff suggestions

Hello Ronnie

I just noticed this >>I wish I could only get
notifications of tasks that I assign that are done.

You can certainly do this already

In your account settings / Configure Alert Settings section:
simply limit the alerts you get to the "Task completed:" one
