impressive... maybe there's problems here and there, but you guys
get right on it. Good work!

Mary Anntag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/157467962012-05-03T18:02:37Z2012-05-03T18:02:37ZDooster stopped notifying on completed tasks

Thank you Mary Ann

I appreciate your kind words ;-)

Unfortunately my guy says

I tested notifications quite extensively and can confirm they
are working as expected

the most likely cause is either

a configuration problem on their end (e.g. the task is being
automatically marked as created by Mary Ann, (see options / emailed
into lists who its assigned to

they've opted out of alerts, etc)

or the notification e-mails are being lost (either bounced back
or sent to a spam folder).

Please get Mary Ann to check these possibilities and confirm

Thanks Ed

edtag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/157467962012-05-03T18:03:45Z2012-05-03T18:03:45ZDooster stopped notifying on completed tasks

also what is the status of your clients re the tasks? are they

to
view, add and edit tasks (I just assigned her as task manager today
to
see if she'll receive them again.) It would be difficult to put her
as a
"watcher" since she is creating the tasks and emailing them to the
Dooster board.

I thought maybe it was because I was marking them "done" by
clicking on
the link in the email. So today, I logged in and marked the task
as
"done" and she says she didn't receive notification.

Mary Ann Wellstag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/157467962012-05-03T18:25:56Z2012-05-03T18:25:56ZDooster stopped notifying on completed tasks

She is emailing the task to the Dooster board and it is listed
as
being created by her (the client).

She has not opted out of receiving notifications - I just
checked.

That just leaves the messages going into her spam box - which
doesn't
make sense since she was receiving them before.

1) Your client emails a task into a list - using the special
list emaill address yes?

2) who is this email assigned to

3) Is your client shown as the task creator?

thanks ed

edtag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/157467962012-05-03T18:56:52Z2012-05-03T18:56:52ZDooster stopped notifying on completed tasks

Yes, the client emails a task to the list using the special list

let us look into that

I suspect its to do with the emails. Perhaps we're being treated
as a spam entity being relatively new? - so the emails never get
past the ISP

Sorry about the problem

thanks ed

edtag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/157467962012-05-04T08:21:14Z2012-05-04T08:21:14ZDooster stopped notifying on completed tasks

Hi again

Sorry my guys are convinced there isnt an issue at our end. But
have suggested >>can you get this person's e-mail address,
and ideally the approximate time one of the completion
notifications should have gone out?

Thanks ed

edtag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/157467962012-05-04T11:29:16Z2012-05-04T11:29:16ZDooster stopped notifying on completed tasks

Don't worry about it - we've decided to respond directly to the
client
when her tasks are completed (she also just added the email address
to
her white list).

Mary Ann Wellstag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/157467962012-05-04T12:08:40Z2012-05-04T12:08:40ZDooster stopped notifying on completed tasks

OK thanks Mary Ann ;-)

But do let us know if the problem persists

Thanks to your report we are hiring a specialist to make sure
all these notifications are as spam-filter proof as possible

Best wishes
