To answer your points

Dooster needs to be able to be able to integrate webforms with
their CRM so we can have a client fill out a form and automatically
put that into the system.

That's a good idea. I I assume you mean a webform on your own
site that auto populates a Dooster projects)

But realistically we won't be doing that soon - unless we're hit
by a wave of similar requests.

Also customized form fields for the CRM are necessary so we can
keep a certain profile on that customer that meets our needs.

Yes we're working on that - as per other post today

If a form could trigger a task list or project, even better.

Perhaps a workaround is for you to create a client specific
project in your Dooster. Invite your clients into it as project
managers. This means they can create their own projects and
contacts etc

If you want the webform for your own ease of use then can I
suggest you look at project Templates - see the knowledge base
articles

Hope that helps

Thanks

it to populate the CRM or customer information. (and custom
customer information)

I want a form I can send my clients to so they can fill out the
information we need from them to start a project. So we have their
information attached to their customer profile from the
beginning.

Not having a webform right now is a deal breaker for me. Right
now I use Podio and every thing you create in podio can become a
webform.

What about considering using Google Docs (which their
spreadsheets can become forms) to create forms that pass
information onto the CRM like you're doing with Google
contacts?

That way you don't have to create the whole form structure
yourself.

Rubentag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/172068902012-07-14T15:27:24Z2012-07-14T15:27:24ZCRM Needs Webforms

thank you for that idea Ruben

I will discuss it with the team

implementation.

An easy workaround, though, seems to be to use any external web
form manager, generate a form for crm or user desk, and have the
webform app send an email with the details as filled by the
user/customer to the tasklist-specific dmail for that activity
(e.g., crm new contacts, crm project requests, or issue
ticket).

Peter
