My problem with Skype is that you may be dealing with someone who does not
have or use Skype. It is cumbersome to tell them that they have to download
and set up software to communicate with you as opposed to logging in to
a PM program and communicating from there.
Also, I have a natural reluctance using Skype, I had used previously but not now,
because it is a very invasive program. Using an uninstaller like Revo Uninstaller
one sees just what I am talking about. Of all the programs I have uninstalled, Skype
was the most invasive. The fact that Microsoft now owns it does not give me a warm
"fuzzy either. I know, millions of users make me look somewhat strange. So be it.
