Billable time
Hi there,
I have recorded time against the tasks and now I would like to mark it as billed to the client as I have issued them an invoice. How do I do this?
Thanks,
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie
If I understand you correctly I would simply move those billed tasks to a new list eg call it "Billed client X"
... or you could add a tag with a similar ref to each task
It shouldnt take long to work out a simple system that suits your needs ;-)
Best wishes

What I do is complete the tasks. They still show in any searches / filters
Hope that helps. T

Hi John, So that would mean I would only be able to bill a task once? I
invoice weekly and sometimes a task isn't complete when I bill it..?

Hi Stephanie
I'm not sure of what your exact system is but it seems you could use tags to mark the status? You can add these "on the fly" - and delete old ones...
There is also the task status feature you might want to use for this? http://dooster.net/wp/tasks-advanced/task-status-customizing/
Dooster is a highly customizable tool. It has evolved in response to feature requests from many types of business. It shouldn't take long to play around with it and get what you need from it ;-)
Please let me know if you have any other questions
Thanks John

Hi John,
Does that mean I can tag individual lots of time allocated against the
task? Or can I only tag against the task?
Thanks,
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie
Sorry I'm not sure what you mean :(
Why not try it out and see whether it does what you need? It shouldnt take long... just set up a dummy project - you can quickly delete it later ;-)
Best wishes
John
