is the data import automated or done by a human?
You say to e-mail the two CSV files to the address given. Does a human work on that (as in, I'll have to wait until someone is at their desk) or is it automatically processed (almost immediate results)?
How long will it take to see the results in my account?
Will I get a notification if there's a failure?
Thanks,
Tavie.

Hi Tavie
Very sorry about the delay in repsonding. For some reason the email Ed sent in reply a couple of days ago didn't get through
Here's what he wrote

Cool, thanks. Question: if I export/backup a project, make cell content modifications (non-structural changes), and e-mail that to y'all, is that importable as is, or do I still need to separate it into multiple CSV files?
Thanks,
Tavie.

Hi Tavie
Hmm not sure exactly what you mean. But in any event you need to follow the format as outlined here https://dooster.tenderapp.com/kb/basecamp-import-migrating-your-dat...
Whatever you put in those fields is what will show under those names eg
Project name
Task List name
Task subject
etc
Thanks
John

Seems odd that it won't import something that it produces itself? I've attached the backup copy that is e-mailed to me.
So you're saying that if I need to import a copy of a project that the system itself e-mailed me, I would have to break it apart to get it sucked back in?

HI
No I'm saying that whatever you put into the required format will end up in your Dooster account in that format eg if you put XYZ in the project name field then the project name will be XYZ... and so on
Thanks John

OK, so to close this out...
I cannot take a file that the system sends me and, without breaking it up into separate CSV files, send it back to you and have you import it as is, true?
