Really sorry about that. It's a bug which we'll fix soon.

Thanks for your kind words about Dooster. Please don't hesitate
to let us know if you have any other feedback or suggestions

Best wishes

Thanks very much for the quick response. I was beginning to feel
like I
couldn't follow simple directions...it's a relief to know that it
wasn't
"operator error" on my part!!

I don't mean to be a pain, but is there a general timeframe for
the bug
fix? And do you mind emailing me when it's done so I can know when
to move
ahead with the CRM/contact part of Dooster? That would be
appreciated.

Thanks again...I look forward to the fix. As I said, I like
Dooster very
much for several reasons!

We're working on it now and it should be ready for testing
tomorrow. It should be online on Tuesday at the latest

We would be very interested to hear of what you think about
using Dooster as a simple CRM - when you get to look at it fully.
If you have any suggestions for tweaks etc let us know and we might
incorporate them (Dooster has been built on user feedback).

Thanks again

Thanks for the response. That sounds great for the fix for
linking tasks to
contacts.

I'll work with Dooster over the next few days and let you know
what I've
come up with for using it as a CRM.

Thanks again very much!!

That's all fixed and tested and will go live tomorrow at 6am UK

Thank you for reporting the bug and our repeated apologies for
the inconvenience

Thanks very much for the update. I look forward to trying out
that part of
Dooster tomorrow.

I have noticed that the Dooster staff does a tremendous amount
of work with
user feedback. It's very evident in the "discussions" part of
Dooster'ssupport section, and it's one of the many things that
has
impressed me
about Dooster. Most (if not all) other CRM and cloud apps either
respond
with why they can't (or won't) adopt a suggestion, or ignore it, or
put it
in a queue that may get adopted sometime in the undefined (long
term)
future. You guys are terrific the way you are so responsive. It
helps your
users feel that they are really making a difference in how Dooster
is
developed and used. WOW!!

Thanks again!!

Does that work OK for you now? Any suggestions re how we can
make it better?

Thanks !

edtag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/269008412013-05-22T16:08:18Z2013-05-22T16:08:18ZLinking Tasks to Contacts

Hi Ed.

Thanks for following up.

I was able to try the fix briefly yesterday, and it seemed like
it was
working very well. I've been out of the office yesterday afternoon
and this
morning, so I haven't "played" with the feature a whole lot yet. I
will do
so today and tomorrow. But, as I said, it seems to working quite
well now.

I've been noting some suggestions, which I'll compile soon and
email to
you. But please know that I think Dooster is really terrific
already...I'm
very excited about using it!

Thanks again for the fix and for following up...very much
appreciated!

Just wondering...what's the best way to make suggestions as I
work more
with Dooster? Should I submit through the Dooster support site as I
did
initially when I asked about linking tasks and contacts? Or should
I send
you an email like this?

Seems to me the best way would be to submit through the support
site so
others can access the "thread" and become aware and
knowledgeable.

Your thoughts?

Thanks very much.

Ed's not around right now. But yes if you could post your
suggestions here on the support site

and ideally do one post per idea ie so we can keep the threads
separate and clear. That would be great !

Many thanks
