currently very below
par at the moment.

Why the 2 step login?

Why full screen?

Why no offline access? I may as well be using my browser rather
than this app. This suggest that this is a browser skin rather than
a true app, your users will not be happy!

See screenshot for poor quality graphics at bottom of

No configurable options at all?

I can understand your desire to get an app to market, but with
the number of
task/todo apps out there, your's needs to have polish and usability
to stand
out, and currently is lacking on both. i suggest pulling this app
until you
have a working, polished app.

ps i hope you don't think i'm being harsh, i'm just trying to
give honest
feedback.

No you're not being "harsh". It's fine. Any feedback is really
appreciated

To answer your questions

Why the 2 step login?

We are working on that. it should be improved soon

Why full screen?

Not sure what else you'd expect. Can you elaborate on that?

Why no offline access? I may as well be using my browser rather
than this app. This suggest that this is a browser skin rather than

This is a thin app - not a "native app". But there are clear
benefits over using your browser eg clarity (full screen ;-) , and
speed

See screenshot below for truncation of boxes, looks poor.

See screenshot for poor quality graphics at bottom of
screen.

OK thanks we will correct those

No configurable options at all?

Sorry. Not sure what you mean

I do appreciate your point Phil. But please note we're not
"selling" this on android marketplace as a native app. We try to
make clear that it's an add on to dooster.net / web app. (Please
let me know if we should change anything in the description
etc)

We did the thin apps in response to user requests and previous
feedback has been it's "good enough".

If you are a dooster account owner, collaborating with others,
it is a way of keeping in contact with your tasks while "offline" /
away from your big screen.

It would be interesting if you gave a wishlist of features you'd
like to see in your perfect android task app. We might be able to
do at least some of them soon.

Appreciate you've spent a lot of time on this so if we don't
hear from you again many thanks

best wishes

I would expect the app to behave like most other apps and show
the status
bar. only media players really need full screen.

* * I understand that you make no great claims regarding your app,
but why not
set your sights high!!

I notice that while you do not charge for the android app, you
do charge for
for more than 3 projects, so the 'but it's free' argument may not
be
accurate...

(Hmm i posted quite a long reply yesterday which has
disappeared... Please let me know if you got an email with it and
I'll report a bug to tenderapp).

Anyway thanks again for your time Phil. I note all your
comments.

Thanks also for your wish list.

Sorry but we won't be doing anything like that anytime soon. Ie
a fully fledged native app. There are already some very good
solutions out there. However imho they don't quite cover the
requirements that a typical SME type business manager and team have
and that a web app like Dooster gives them.

I would love to do a better mobile app but to be honest it is
very difficult finding the right people. Mobile apps are flavour of
the month and as with many goldrushes the good the bad and the ugly
have piled in. We've been through 4 developers to get to what we
have...

However what we will be doing in the next weeks will be to
release an API. This means that good mobile developers will be able
to take the parts of dooster they want to use for their own take on
a mobile version of Dooster.

All the best
