Reoccurring tasks not resetting correctly

I moved my company to Dooster because we have many reoccurring tasks on projects and I could set a task to occur every Wednesday by 4:30 PM. When I joined, if I completed that task early, it would still set to Wednesday at 4:30 PM the next week when I first joined.

For a while now, that's not what is happening. Today I checked off a task today at 11:11 AM that is due every Wednesday by 4:30 PM and it reset for the next week on Thursday at 11:11 AM. I've noticed all of my weekly reoccurring tasks are resetting for one day later at the time I check them off, instead of for one week later at the same time and date. Some of my monthly tasks did reset for the right date, but changed times to 5:00 AM (not the time I checked them off) when they didn't have a time set at all. Oddly enough, it seems like it's only happening for certain projects.

Can anyone help? It's really messing up my schedule and all my tasks, since I have to manually go in and change each one. Plus, it tells me tasks are overdue when they aren't, because the time is messed up.

    Hi Beth,

    I've been looking in to your issue with regards to recurring tasks setting with the wrong date after a few occurrences, and am having a little bit of trouble recreating it. Would you be able to provide details (just the name of each will suffice) of the project and task you experienced the initial problem with (the one that should have set to Wednesday at 4:30pm but instead set to Thursday 11:11am)? I should be able to trace it through the system then and determine where the issue is.

    One example would be the task Marsh Deals (Full) on the project In Good Cents. However, we can't recreate it now. I'm wondering if the issue I was having with the reoccurring tasks not loading was causing it. I'm not sure if that's possible, but hopefully it's magically fixed now. I'll let you know if it comes up again.

    While I have your attention, is there some trick to turning off e-mails? We have Dooster up all the time on our computers and know when tasks are overdue. We've turned off e-mails on all projects, but we're all still getting some of them. It's overkill for us. I don't get all of them. Just random overdue notices it seems. Thanks!
