Email Notification When a Task is Due

I may be missing this, but I am wondering if I will or can get an email in my inbox when a task is due (i.e. I set a task due for 9am on the 19th - I would like an email in my inbox on the 19th reminding me that task is due). I see the option to get a reminder when it is assigned, completed, etc... but not when it is due. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Ed,

    I would prefer single alert per task since they are project specific.
    Ironically I am now getting single alerts, but I don't get the daily update
    even though I have it activated.

    If you could let me know the process for single alerts that would be great
    so I know exactly what I am doing.

    The daily updates are working OK on our various test accounts. So can you check your spam?

    OK we will look into setting up single alerts per task

    Do you only want these for Due tasks or also for Start dates?

    I don't see them in my spam account. I would only want them for Due Dates
    - I don't set a lot of Start Dates. In playing around yesterday, I started
    getting emails for individual task due dates - do you know how this is
    happening? should it be?

    OK that is why... we will make it clearer that some alerts cannot be blocked

    I think we'll add all the alerts to the relevant Account Settings section and grey out those ones

    Please let me know if we can make it clearer anywhere else...

    OK we found out why you aren't getting the daily updates

    This is due to your account having expired. It's complex But is unique to your account.

    Now we could spend time and effort fixing it. But can you first confirm if you actually want the daily Update emails?

    If so which email are they supposed to be sent?

    As I put in the rest of my projects - daily updates would be a feature I
    can see liking. The email address is [email blocked]
