item on the calendar

Hi there...I cannot figure out why an item is not on the calendar. i've waited and I have checked to see if the task list it is on has calendar checked. I've looked to see if there is a due date to be sure it is on the calendar. It is not showing up. Any thoughts?

    Can you give a couple more details please

    This is on Dooster yes (ie not Google cal)?

    You added it on Dooster? How exactly

    what browser are you using?

    I'm having similar issues. I've followed all instructions in the creation of a task list to have my tasks show on the calendar within dooster, yet absolutely no tasks are showing. I'm using firefox version 12....and have also tried IE v9 with the same results. I'm using windows 7 64 bit. If you could offer some assistance on how to get my tasks to display on the dooster calendar I'd appreciate it. I am not using google as an option - prefer to keep what I'm doing inclusive to the dooster app.

    Thank you for your contribution

    We're sorry about the issue

    What's happening is that syncing from Dooster to Google is OK ie very quick - as it should be

    However syncing from Google to Dooster is baaad ie things added / changed in Google are taking up to an hour to populate on Dooster

    We don't want to shift responsibility but the problem lies with Google. However our guys are fairly confident they have a solution (then again they were confident a few days ago ! )

    Bottom line is if you're ok working from Dooster into Google its not an issue. Your changes will show quickly on your Google cals etc

    We hope to have a proper fix in place soon TBA

    As I mentioned in my post..I am NOT using google. I was under the assumption that the events within a task list would populate into the dooster calendar. This is what I am trying to accomplish. Can you review my thread again and let me know how to get my tasks from tasks lists within a project to show up on the calendar.

    aah OK apologies

    any task you put into a Dooster project will show up on the project and global (ie all projects) calendar.

    BUT the task must have a due date

    and

    Make sure the tasks are not in a task list which you have opted NOT to show on the calendar.

    Ok...I think I’ve figured it out…thanks so much for your assistance.

     

    If I could ask one non-related question on subscribing to your service…it shows a monthly fee of 3.97ish per month…do you bill this monthly or at time of checkout is it pay the full year at once?

    re billing: Your card is charged monthly - automatically.

    You will be asked to pay at the end of your 30 day free trial - assuming you have more than 3 projects at that point (3 or less remians free )

    If and when you stop using Dooster you simply cancel your payments

    Thanks so much for your help...and more importantly very impressed with the quick/prompt responses. That kind of thing helps - at least for me to make a decision to go with a service when the support is active and responsive.

    One more question...I saw on the dooster site that there was an iPhone app, but a search is yielding nothing under DOOSTER...is it called something else in the app store?

    We retired the iphone app.

    You don't need to download the application from the apple / iphone
    marketplace

    Simply type your account address into your phone browser and you will
    automatically get the mobile version of the app.

    Or you can go to http://dooster.net and sign up for a new account using
    your mobile.

    I did the same thing that Emma did and it would not show. So I went on and
    changed the date and due date a few times and now it is showing. Weird.
    We're making progress! I can't wait until Google catches up to you guys.
