Sorry to hear that

It's working OK on our test accounts. Can you kindly send
details ie account name / project name / list name

(I assume this is an email into a list yes? - ie to create a
task...)

send the details to me at john {at} dooster.net

thanks - and repeated apologies for the issue

What happens if one of the recipients that gets notified has an
email
box that is full? Would that cause it to keep posting?

Account Name: webkare

Project Name EST-AEGIS

List Name Unassigned (as you can see, the projects are still
posting as
of today (these projects were originally sent last week and
completed).

Mary Ann Wellstag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/197479262012-10-18T12:04:07Z2012-10-18T12:04:07ZFIXED - Emailed tasks posting multiple times

Thanks mary

OK looking into this. Hope to have further info this
afternoon

Thanks John

Johntag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/197479262012-10-19T09:46:30Z2012-10-19T09:46:30ZFIXED - Emailed tasks posting multiple times

Hi Mary Ann

OK here's what our guys reported back

we've had a deeper look at this one and have determined there's
not a problem in our system (it's behaving as it should). The
corresponding tasks are all being created from 'new' emails that
are coming in from jaudet@est-static.com at regular
intervals (roughly 3 hours apart). They don't look like
bouncebacks, for all intents and purposes this e-mail account seems
to be sending these e-mails to us as new e-mails of it's own
accord.

There's very little we can do on this end without restricting
functionality for other users .. for instance I could put a block
in place to check if an e-mail is a duplicate (matches subject,
body and sender) of a previous one received within say the last 24
hours and discard it, but I can imagine there's probably someone
out there who may be actually needing this functionality (for
instance an alarm system that e-mails out into Dooster).

They'll need to check the e-mail account of the sender for
problems, or see if the e-mails in question have perhaps been sent
to multiple recipients and it's having trouble getting through to
one of them so just trying and trying again.

Thanks John

Johntag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/197479262012-10-19T12:03:58Z2012-10-19T12:03:58ZFIXED - Emailed tasks posting multiple times

Thanks, I'll let them know.

Mary Ann Wells
