<p>Is this still an issue? (we cannot reproduce it yet)</p>

<p>I followed the link at the bottom of <em>this</em> email to the
discussions.</p>
<p>From there, I followed the link to <em>“Go to Dooster Task
Manager”</em></p>
<p>I immediately get the Alarm message below.</p>
<p>I click on <em>Open Task</em> and get the
<em>“Sorry”</em> message.</p>
<p>Tried it twice since receiving your message saying that you
cannot reproduce it.</p>
<p>What can I say?</p>
<p>If I cancel the first reminder, the second Alarm appears. That
works correctly and opens the Task.</p>

<p>Please rest assured we are trying. Bugs can appear in one
browser / OS and not another. For example it all works fine for us
in our various chrome / OS test systems. But we can see issues in
Firefox</p>
<p>Anyway the team are looking into it now</p>
<p>Thank you for your patience</p>

<p>Update: Our colleague reports:</p>
<p>I'm also unable to recreate this issue. I've tried on live on my
account, and on dev , using Chrome and no issue occurs.
Additionally there are no recorded errors in the system so it's
almost as if something in their browser is intercepting or
interfering with the Javascript that loads the task from the alarm.
ask them to check for this.</p>
<p>I'll do a further investigation, but it will likely take most of
the afternoon to complete.</p></div>edtag:dooster.tenderapp.com,2011-05-09:Comment/258280272013-03-12T19:20:38Z2013-03-12T19:20:38ZAlarm pop-up bug<div><p>Hi Ed</p>
<p>I am unable to provide you with any diagnostic information. I
have provided pictorial evidence of the fault so that you can see
exactly what was on the screen when the fault occurred. And I have
described the steps taken up to the fault occurring.</p>
<p>I don't have any problems with other web sites.</p>
<p>I run Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 and Trusteer Rapport
Security Software which may intercept a script but it is beyond my
ability to assess or diagnose that.</p>
<p>Regards,</p>

<p>Our colleague has investigated this further and says:</p>
<p>it works absolutely fine for me in Chrome and Firefox on both
Windows (7 & XP) and Linux.</p>
<p>Since we have absolutely no errors tracked for this on our end
(no 500 errors thrown by Django at all!), and we have both been
unable to recreate this issue, the only culprit I can think of that
would result in the red message box appearing without a
corresponding 500 error are:</p>
<p>1) A connection problem between the browser and the server. If
the connection is severed or unsuccessful, this can often be
interpreted by the browser as an error which shows the red message
inside the edit window.</p>
<p>2) Something is interfering with the response from our server.
This could be a browser plugin, antivirus or firewall, something
like an adblocking plugin that adjusts how Javascript is
interpreted, etc. It's unlikely but almost impossible to diagnose
if this is the case.</p>
<p>In any event I've tried just about every combination of test I
can think of to try to recreate this but have failed to do so,
which means I can't fix it. All I can suggest at this stage is to
gather more information from the user, such as are they still
experiencing the issue, are other users on the same account
experiencing it, does it only appear for that one task, does it
appear in other browsers?</p>
<p>@Trevor please advise</p>
<p>Thank you</p>
