hello dooster programmers. :)

with my use of your great application i've encountered some things that need your attention.
1. while in calendar view, there were items which appeared as " 'event name' due date" and when I clicked on it, a blank pop-up appeared.
2. in setting due dates to tasks, moving the calendar either to the next month or to the previous month, the calendar will scroll all the way to 1900s
3. projects linked to google calendars - the calendars on google are not updated with the tasks assigned. (as per practice, i've refreshed the page several times within the past half-hour to no avail)

comments:
great job guys! i'm really impressed with how everything ties up. i'll try to find more things I can help out with. there's great potential in your endeavors. :)

Kind Regards,
Argel Joseph Cuevas

    hi Susan,

thanks for the very timely response.
while exploring your application some more, I've found additional kinks for
    the developers to look into:

    2. in options, under google sync (
    https://argelcuevas.dooster.net/projects/7136/settings) moments ago, I was
able to view a list of all the calendars I had syched, but now it's only
    showing "use own calendar"
    3. while creating a new task under one of the projects i've created from one
of the calendars I have, and after setting all the needed information and
pressing on the "save and close" button, the "loading circles" will appear
for a couple of seconds, will disappear, and the task will not be assigned.
i clicked on "save and close" several times and nothing happens.

hope to spot more of the bugs to help you out. :)

    Best regards,

    Hi Argel

I checked this one - ie 3 below - and it seesm ok ie I added the task in a project calendar using the "Add Event" feature.

Can you check again and if there is any issue pls give us the exact steps you took?

    thanks ed

    hi ed!

I'm using Firefox v. 5.0 and Google Chrome.
Could connection problems also cause some of the bugs from incompletely
    loaded pages?

but the connection is shared over a network of people with different tasks
ranging from simple web use to uploading and downloading of media files.

    hi dooster developers,

not sure why but i can't see the tasks on the calendar anymore. (on any
    calendar)
only the deadlines would appear. the recurring tasks i've set wont appear
for some reason on any calendar.

    update:
the program created new calendars on my google account with the format
"dooster <project name>" Those projects were created from currently existing
calendars I have with my account. Would it be possible to integrate them
    instead of creating new calendars?
(then again, one work-around is to copy the events/tasks i have on the
original calendars to the new ones that dooster created, however it would be
too much of a hassle... the fact that I handle more than 15 calendars)

also, only the deadlines created appeared on those google calendars. the
tasks are in no way appearing. (not sure if this is the intention of the
    application)

    :)
8would it be possible to set the duration of the task, like, to have the
function of setting the time allotment for a task? (for cases when we would
need to limit the hours worked on a certain task when it would be assigned
    to a person.)

    Keep up the great work!

    Best Regards,

    Hi Argel

Well here's the developers response to your previous issues. Can you check this then advise me if the more recent ones are still a problem?

    thanks ed

looking at this in more detail and comparing it to the speedtest results, he is running over a very slow connection which could create the behaviour seen in bug 3. Bug 2 however looks like a misunderstanding.

The calendar list will show only calendars that are still available to link a Dooster project against. That means that the Google calendar isn't either a) already one created by Dooster for an existing project or b) hasn't already been attached to an existing project. It's likely in this instance, particularly if they were appearing before, that you simply have no unattached Google calendars available.

It's very likely that bug 3 could be related to a connection issue as this would occur in instances where:
1 - The dependent Javascript could not be loaded. 2 - The form cannot be correctly submitted because the server cannot be reached.
